Fees can be created and managed in the Inventory module. Once a fee item has been created, it can then be applied to an invoice or attached to an existing item to then be factored into that item's price (i.e. dispensing, blood draw, hazardous waste fees etc.)

To create a new fee item:

  1. Navigate to the Inventory module

  2. Click on the "New Item" button in the blue navigation bar at the top

  3. Enter the name of the fee in the 'Name' field (it is recommended to also enter the price in the Name if you have multiple dispensing fees as this will make it easier to identify later)

  4. Select the appropriate subcategory under the Administrative Fees category - This is a required step in order to attach the fee to an item later.

  5. Enter the price of the fee in the Base Price field

  6. Click "Save + Done"

For more details on how to create new items, see the full article here: Adding and Item to Inventory .

Attaching a fee to an item's profile

Once the fee has been created in the Inventory module, it can then be attached to an item's profile to automatically be included in the price that the client will be paying.

To attach a fee to an existing item in the Inventory module:

  1. Navigate to the item that you wish to add the fee to

  2. Click on "Edit Item"

  3. Click on the box in the "Fees" field

  4. Select the desired fee(s) from the drop-down list

  5. Click on "Save + Done"
