Overview

There could be a number of reasons a record will come back unassigned. The most common reasons being that if a step was missed during the workflow, or if a record was deleted after the lab was submitted. The clinic administrator will receive a task that will state there are unassigned lab results in the Unassigned Labs which is found in the Patients Module.

How to Assign a Unassigned Lab

  1. Click on the "Unassigned Labs" in the patient profile

  5. Select a record to attach the lab results to. If the correct lab record is in the patients history and does not have results attached already, you can select the lab to attach the results to. If there is no lab record, select 'Create new record' which will bring up a "New Record" for to add in the lab item
