DaySmart Vet has a pre-made prescription letter that can be uploaded to the clinic's letter templates. If you do not see this letter in your templates, please contact our support team and they will be happy to assist with loading it into your account.

Once your clinic has this letter in your templates, you can make edits to it if you wish to make it more custom for your clinic. Alternatively, you can decide to create your own prescription letter. Please refer to Working with Letters for further steps.
Once the prescription letter is uploaded the clinic can edit the letter per patient. The clinic can even export that to be emailed to the client or even printed as well with the export option.
To use a letter template from within a medical note:
Navigate to the applicable medical note
Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
Complete the form that appears
Click "save." You will then be redirected to the letter, which will appear in print preview mode.
To use a letter template from a patient or client profile:
Navigate to the applicable patient or client profile
Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
Complete the form that appears
Click "save"
