Overview
With DaySmart Vet you can export a single patient's history, or multiple patients under a single client.
Emailing a Single Patient's History
Navigate to the applicable patient
Click "Export Patient File" and select "Email Patient File"
Select the date range for the records you wish to include
Check the boxes next to the records you wish to include (or click on "Include all" to select all the records)
Click "Next"
Edit the recipients, subject, and message, as desired
Click "Email File"
The patient's primary owner will appear as a recipient in the "To" field by default. You may add any client or contact to the "To" field by typing the applicable list. To remove a recipient, click the "x" next to the applicable name.
Tip: If you only need to send a specific attachment(s), you can choose the attachment(s) to send when you click the "Attachments" option in the export form.
Printing a Patient File
To print a patient file, select "Print Patient File" and follow the same steps as emailing.
The print preview of the patient's records will "pop-up" in a new tab or window of your internet browser. Please ensure "pop-up" blockers are disabled for https://www.daysmartvet.com/. To learn more about disabling pop-up blockers, please see Allowing pop-ups for Printing.
Emailing Multiple Patient's History Records
Navigate to the client profile who is related to the patients to export
Click the "Relationships" tab, and select "Export Patients"
Select the desired date range and Veterinarian
Select the patients whose records you wish to export
Click "Export", and the records will be Emailed to the email on the client profile
When exporting multiple patient records, the system will include all record types except the following: Communications, Patient Notes & Tasks.
Print or Email a Specific Letter from a Patient's Profile
Navigate to the applicable patient
Click on "Documents" and select "View Letters"
Click on the title of the letter you wish to export
Click "Export" and select "Email letter" or "Print letter" as applicable
Print or Email a Rabies or Vaccine Certificate
Navigate to the applicable patient
Click on "Certificates" and select "Email certificate" or "Print certificate"
Complete the form that appears
