🛠️ How To Enable the Vetology Integration
The first step is enabling the Vetology integration.
Click on the Settings module and select Integrations
Search for Vetology in the search bar on the top right.
Click the ➕ icon on the right-hand side to enable the integration
💡 Once the integration is enabled, study results are analyzed by Vetology and the analysis is added to the summary of the associated record. Vetology results are mapped based on the submitted study ID.
💡 The Vetology integration is compatible with both IDEXX WebPACS and SOUND SmartPACS. One of these integrations must be enabled before utilizing the Vetology integration. See the related articles below for setup instructions.
🔬 How To Use the Vetology Integration
Follow the steps below to ensure the Vetology report is returned to the correct patient medical record:
Order the image request by adding a new record
Once images have been taken, they are transmitted through Vetology
When the Vetology report is available, it will be returned to the patient's medical record as a PDF attachment
A link to the images and the Vetology report will be available to view from the associated medical record
