How does this work?
The process starts with an email address that we create for your practice (what we’re calling the “BCC forwarding” email address). When you want to copy an email into a client or contact’s communication log, simply include the BCC forwarding email address in the BCC field of the message, or forward the message to the BCC forward email.

The message will be copied into the client’s or contact’s communication log based on the recipient’s email address. If there is no match for that email address, then the message is ignored.

For example, if you are responding to a client’s email and wish for that response to be copied into the client’s communication log, include the email in the BCC field when you send the response. If you just want to store the message without responding, then put the BCC forwarding email in the To field.

Will attachments be copied too?
Yes, attachments will be copied from the message and shown under the “attachments” column in the client’s or contact’s communication log. You can click on the attachments to view them in the browser.

Where to get I get my BCC forwarding email address?
Your clinic-specific email address can be found under Settings > Configuration > BCC Forwarding. We recommend saving this email address as a contact so you don’t have to remember it each time you want to use it.
