Browser auto-fill can interfere with the software by automatically populating saved data into forms. This may result in accidentally saving incorrect information or overwriting existing records. To prevent these issues, it is strongly recommended to disable auto-fill in your browser.
π How To Disable Auto-Fill by Browser
Follow the steps below for your specific browser.
Google Chrome
Click the Chrome menu icon (three lines at top right of screen)
Click Settings
Click Auto Fill
Select the Addresses and More option
Use the toggle to disable this feature
Mozilla Firefox
Click the Firefox menu icon (three lines at top right of screen)
Click Options
Choose the Privacy icon
In the History section, set Firefox to: Use custom settings for history
Uncheck Remember search and form history
Click OK
Internet Explorer
Click the Tools menu icon
Click Internet Options
Select the Content tab
In the AutoComplete section, click Settings
Uncheck Forms and User Names and Passwords on Forms
Click OK in the AutoComplete Settings window
Click OK in the Internet Options window
Microsoft Edge
Select Settings and more > Settings > Passwords & autofill
Turn off Save form data
Select Manage forms to update or remove any saved AutoComplete information
Safari (Desktop)
Click Safari in the program menu and select Preferences
Click the Autofill tab in the Preferences window
Deselect each checkbox next to the autofill options to turn off autocomplete
Safari (iPhone / iPad)
Launch Settings on your iOS device and open the Safari pane
Navigate to the AutoFill section
Tap Clear All under Names and Passwords to clear your AutoFill database
