Sometimes, browser auto-fill can interfere with the proper use of our software by automatically filling in data that is saved in the browser into forms. This could cause you to accidentally save incorrect data, or overwrite existing data. We strongly recommend turning browser auto-fill off to avoid these situations.
To turn off auto-fill in Chrome:
Click the Chrome menu icon (three lines at top right of screen)
Click on "Settings"
Click on "Auto Fill"
Select the Addresses and More option and use the toggle to enable or disable this feature
To turn off auto-fill in Firefox:
Click on the Firefox menu icon (three lines at top right of screen)
Click on Options
Choose the Privacy icon
In the History section choose Firefox will: “Use custom settings for history.”
Uncheck “Remember search and form history.”
Click OK
To turn off auto-fill in Internet Explorer:
Click on the Tools menu icon
Click on Internet Options
Select the Content tab
In the AutoComplete section click on Settings
Uncheck Forms and User Names and Passwords on Forms
Click OK in the AutoComplete Settings Window
Click OK in the Internet Options Window
To turn off auto-fill in Microsoft Edge:
Select Settings and more > Settings > Passwords & autofill.
Turn off Save form data.
Choose Manage forms to change any of your info for AutoComplete.
To turn off auto-fill in Safari:
Click on "Safari" in the program menu and select "Preferences" in the drop-down menu
Click on the "Autofill" tab in the Preferences window
Click on each of the check boxes next to the autofill options to deselect them, turning off the autocomplete for each option
To turn off auto-fill in Safari on iPhone/iPad:
Launch Settings on your iOS device, and open the Safari pane
Navigate to the AutoFill section
Clear your AutoFill database by tapping Clear All under Names and Passwords
