π Overview
This article covers how to create and post a return in the billing section of the platform. When a return is posted, a corresponding refund or credit is automatically generated for the client.
π³ Creating a Return
Navigate to Billing at the top of the page
Click the Returns tab, then select New Return
Complete the form with the appropriate client and relevant information, then click Save
Click the Items tab, then select New Item
Fill in the item form, then click Save + Done β or Save + Add New to add another item. A few things to note:
a) The Return field will tell you the maximum quantity that can be returned, based on what was sold
b) The Restock field is the amount going back into your inventory. In most situations, this is the same amount as the Return field
c) The Records field needs to be set to either Deactivate medical record or Don't deactivate medical record. A reason for Don't deactivate medical record with a Return of 1 and a Restock of 0 could be if the client used the product, but a refund is being processed because of an issue.
Click Post Return in the blue navigation bar
Complete the form that appears, then click Save
β οΈ Important: Only items from paid invoices can be included in a return. If the item you need to return is on an unpaid invoice, navigate to that invoice and remove the item before proceeding.
π Viewing Returns
Returns can be viewed in two places once posted:
Under the Returns tab in the inventory item's profile

Can you point me to what specifically still looks off? I want to make sure I'm matching the standards exactly β particularly around callout formatting, divider placement, and FAQ structure β so I can correct any remaining gaps.
