Email Defaults

Email Defaults in DaySmart Vet are the default message that will be sent from your DaySmart Vet account, for a certain email type. They can be managed by going into Settings < Configurations < and clicking on View Email Defaults:

The 'Email' column is the type of email it is for, such as an Appointment Confirmation, Appointment Reminder or emailing an invoice to a client from your practice. The 'Subject' is what will populate the email's subject field and is hard coded into the email default. The 'Body' is the text of the email. The clinic can either use the System Default option for the Body, or make a letter template to attach to the Body of the email default. In order to attach a letter, first a letter will have to be made. See this link, Working with Letters, to view the article that will teach you how to make a letter template. Once you have created the letter you would like to attach, select the "pencil and paper" edit button on the far right of the applicable email default. Then select the applicable letter from the drop down list in the Body section. The email defaults will auto populate the email being sent from DaySmart Vet, dependent on the type.

Appointment Accept:
