This article shows the step by step instructions on how to change the account ownership of your DaySmart Vet account. Account ownership may result from various factors including but not limited to the sell-purchase of an existing account, taking over of the account by different management, acquisition, etc.

In case of ownership change, here are the steps the customer needs to take.

1. Send a written request to DaySmart Vet support ([email protected]) about the ownership change with clear and concise information about the change from an active clinic administrator. This is required for us to make any changes to the account information change in our systems.
2. Very important - Add the new owner to the account (if needed as an administrator) and activate the user so that they can access the account. Here is an article on how to add a user )
3. Ensure that the clinic address, name, and other configurations are updated as per the new owner's requirements. These need to be checked and changed if needed by the clinic admin and staff.
