Many jurisdictions require special cautionary language on the bottom of a prescription label such as "Keep out of reach of children. For Veterinary use only." Please consult with your local government and veterinary board for requirements, if applicable.

Some label printers do not allow third party labels, and therefore you cannot use pre-printed label with caution alerts.

By using the built-in footer in DaySmart Vet, you are able to add a custom text to the lower margin of the label.

To add a footer, please navigate to the:
1. Settings module
2. Click the Configuration tab
3. Select View Configurations
4. Scroll down the alphabetical list to Label Prescription Footer
5. Click the pencil and paper icon on the far right to edit
6. Enter your desired text, up to 60 characters
7. Click the blue Disk icon on the right to Save
