š Overview
Message Assist is a Daisy AI-powered capability that helps you improve, personalize, and shorten the client messages you already send by email and SMS. Instead of writing every message from scratch, you can generate a smarter draft right inside the same email, SMS, billing, and document windows you use today ā nothing is ever sent without your review.
š Authorizations: Message Assist requires an active Daisy add-on subscription. Accounts without the add-on won't see any Daisy buttons, and email/SMS windows will look and work exactly as they do today.

Available Actions
Improve with Daisy ā rewrites your message for clarity, tone, and professionalism.
Personalize with Daisy ā adds available patient, client, and appointment details to make the message specific to that visit.
Draft a Follow-Up: Staff can use the Draft Follow-Up action to generate an personalized follow-up message for clients after a visit, procedure, or lab result. This option is available in both the SOAP export email modal and the checkout email dialog, and drafts are shown for review before they can be sent.
Explain Shared Content: When emailing a patient file, SOAP or checkout documents to a client, click Explain Shared Content to have Daisy automatically draft a short, easy-to-understand summary of what's included ā just review and accept before sending.
Shorten for SMS: This option takes the default message and simply shortens it for a SMS message
š Reviewing a Draft
Choose an action you'd like Daisy to draft. Daisy generates a draft, shown separately from your original text.
ā ļø Important: Always review a Daisy-generated draft before sending. Daisy uses the patient, visit, and billing details available at the time, but it does not generate medical recommendations or diagnoses ā confirm accuracy before sending to a client.
Your options are:
Select Keep original to reject and keep your original message untouched
Click in the text box, and make manual edits then select Accept draft
Select Accept draft to replace your message. Manual edits can be made after the draft is accepted
