Editing a paid invoice

In DaySmart Vet, a paid invoice can be edited by changing the status of the invoice to "Reopen"

The step-by-step directions to make changes to an invoice are:

1. Navigate to the invoice.
2. Click on the edit invoice option available in the top left-hand corner of the gray bar.
3. Change the invoice status to 'reopened'.

4. Click 'Save invoice' on the top gray bar.
5. Make any changes necessary to the already added items by clicking the gear icon on the right-hand side.
6. Add any new items by clicking the item tab on the invoice and selecting the 'New item' option.
7. Once the intended changes are made, Click on the 'Post Invoice' option available on the top gray bar.

The software will automatically adjust the balance on the invoice depending on the changes made. You may collect a new payment on this invoice to capture the remaining balance by clicking on Payment < New Payment:
