Creating Account Statements for Clients

Generating account statements is an important task, as you will need to send these statements to clients with an outstanding balances. Account statements can be generated at the client level, or in bulk from the Accounts Receivable report, which can easily be emailed in mass to all clients with an outstanding balance.


🧾 How to Generate Account Statements

Easily generate all account statements right from the Accounts Receivable report.

  1. Click on Reports and select the Billing option

  2. Select the Accounts Receivable report

  3. Select the Filter option on the top left to make adjustments to the As Of, Total Due, and Exempt Flag field as needed.

  4. Once the report is generated, you can select multiple clients or select the box next to the Last Name field to select all.

  5. From the Statements option, you can Email statements to selected or Print statements to selected.

πŸ’‘ If printing, the statements will be generated in the background while you continue working. You will receive a notification when the statements are available for viewing and printing. πŸ’‘ To ensure clients with only credits are excluded from the report, set the Total Due filter to a minimum value of $1.00.

You can generate an individual client’s account statement directly from their profile.

  1. Search for the client from the global search function in the shortcut bar

  2. Click on the Billing drop-down menu and select Account Statement. From there you can choose to Email Statement or Print Statement.
