'Sync Appointments to Calendar' Configuration

Enable 'Sync Appointments to Calendar' Configuration

This configuration will allow clients to sync their upcoming appointments to their personal calendar. The default for this configuration is currently set as 'Disabled.' To enable the add on:

  • Go to the Settings module

  • Click Configuration

  • Click View Configurations

  • Scroll down to Sync Appointments to Calendar and Enable


Now that the configuration has been enabled, clients will begin to receive the .ics invite on their Appointment Confirmation email. There will be an 'Update My Calendar' button for the client to click and add to their calendar.

In the event the appointment is cancelled, the cancellation email will contain another 'Update My Calendar' button. Once they click on that button, the appointment will be removed from their personal calendar.

If an appointment is edited by changing the time manually or by dragging and dropping, A new link is sent to the client so that the new time can be updated on the calendar
